Residential Mindfulness Retreat

This weekend retreat offers a gentle  introduction to many of the practices of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). MBSR is a secular practice, the benefits of which have been validated by 30 years of scientific research. We will explore together what mindfulness is, how it can be cultivated and what it can bring to our lives. Over the course of the weekend retreat, you will experience practices including the body scan, sitting meditation and mindful movement. You will also learn how to develop your own practice and integrate mindfulness into your everyday life following the weekend residential. There will be opportunities for group discussion during the weekend, both in the practice sessions and more informally throughout the day.
